So we finally release the first episode from BluRay. We’ll only release a 1080p version of this, and we’ll see if we continue the SD version later on.
Personally I don’t think the boxset is worth to be bought with its current price considering the issue it has. The DVD already suffered from aliasing so we hoped they would fix that for the BD version, but they didn’t. In fact, even though the video is progressive, there were plenty of frames with interlacism. Luckily this was pretty easy to fix.
About the audio: Since the audio is 16bit LPCM this time, it’s been coded to FLAC.

Finally started this lovely title. It certainly needed better rips, because others are pretty messed up because of various issues, like oversmoothing when the DVD is already clean to begin with and even added ghosting.
We’ve chosen to use the R1 DVDs because they don’t have the gay halo issues that are found in the R2 DVD. The R1 version also has its drawbacks for the video in high motion, but overall the video to be more pleasing than the R2 video, especially less blurry.
Also, whatever you do, avoid Exiled-Destiny’s version, because the issues introduced by them are terrible (smoothing, ghosting and other weird artefacts).

Finally another release. A pretty cool movie this time, named “The Wings of Honneamise”. The Blu-Ray looks awesome as you may expect, and so do these encodes! :>
I transcoded the lossless audio to DTS audio, because keeping it lossless caused it to become a little bit too big considering that most people who need uber audio use a receiver to decode the DTS track.
