More stuff from the 80′s, this time it’s the OVA “Dai Majuu Gekitou: Hagane no Oni” first shown in 1987.
We’ve got the remastered version ready for you to watch!

Subtitles are scene timed and arcturo ran through the subtitles to repair any English errors.
The remastered DVD was presented with 16/9 content, the only downside was that the DVD had a 4/3 flag so black bars had to be cropped. The release itself is 720×368 anamorphic and re-sized back to 720×405 on playback.

Yes, your eyes aren’t deceiving you, 2 whole episodes of Death Note have been released.
I’ll try to to catch up with the r1 dvds again, but you’ll never know when that happens, as usual these Death Note episodes come in ~120MB each.
Other change is that I’ve changed the font for the subtitles.

Some of you might have waited for this one, remastered version of Demon City Shinjuku, which has been originally released in 1988, since it’s old there is grain on the dvd, which I did my best to preserve the best I could.

Anyway, the source is a remastered R2 dvd, which seems to be VERY nice in quality.

Video resolution is 720×480, there was no need to crop anything off the video so I didn’t need to resize. The mkv is set to scale it back to 720×540 (4:3)

The subtitles that were on the dvd had BAD, really BAD timing, mistakes everywhere, so I’ve re-timed (scenetiming) every line of it. Also, some lines and signs were completely missing, they were translated, so thanks to icemarle.

Additional subtitle editing has been done by arcturo, to make 99.8% sure that there is no broken English.

As an extra I’ve added the Japanese subtitles that came with the dvd to the release as well.

I’ve been using “joomla” for a while now, but wasn’t really happy with the package, not that it is bad, no it’s just a bit to large for me.

I don’t really update a LOT and it has quite a lot of features that I don’t need, so this time I’ve moved to WordPress. So far I really like it a lot more than joomla. A lot easier to maintain once you’ve got everything up.

Almost all project pages are updated now, still need to add a few more, like Kaze no Stigma (dropped) and Naruto (stalled), and a few project pages that are already up don’t have any information yet.
