Yes, a new release today, this time it’s Hikyou Tanken Fam & Ihrlie, called Ruin Explorers as well.

This is a nice and colourful OVA with cute characters in a fantasy world with adventures, magic, swordsmen and of course, a great power!
It has 4 episodes and it’s near 2 hours of fun (1 hour and 57 minutes to be exact, well I suppose it’ll be a bit less if you skip the opening and ending).

The quality of the DVD is excellent, nice remastered video and looks great compared to the R1 encode from E-D and the older R2J encode from SNS.
While the R1 DVD is supposedly remastered, too… Its master is not great, in fact it looks pretty bad coming from 2004.
The clean opening from the R2J disc sucks pretty much in quality, too, though. It seems they didn’t bother to give it a proper master as it’s full of dotcrawl, but the grain is still intact, though!

And if you are looking for an English dub then I’m sorry, but it’s not included in our release as it sounds quite terrible to me, so I didn’t bother to see if it fits the R2 video and include it.

There are 2 subtitle tracks, where the first one uses some lovely styling the second one has simpler styling by just using one font for the whole styling (except the episode title).
